Epiphanies

Epiphanies is a collection of Sara Teasdale poems that all contain common yet difficult “epiphanies” or realizations that many of us have throughout our lives. The poems reflect themes of friends, death, love, and humanity and illustrate the breadth of emotions that are an essential part of the human experience. Teasdale wrote with raw intensity about these experiences during a time when it was not acceptable for women to acknowledge or articulate so clearly the darkness and struggle that exists inside of us all. Through this cycle, I tried to stay true to her intentions and brave expression of what it means to exist and experience this thing we call life. The cycle was completed in August of 2022.
